Recycling
Green Township’s Recycling Center is located at 12184 Lisbon Road in Greenford behind the Fire Station.  Julie Less is our Recycling Coordinator and can be contacted at 330-502-3277.

Items that we accept:

Aseptic Packaging (milk, juice, soup cartons)

Aluminum Beverage Cans
Newsprint (with glossy ads)
Office & Shredded Paper
Metal Food Containers
Glass Bottles & Jars
Plastics #1-#7
Flattened Corrugated Cardboard
Phone Books
Magazines & Catalogs
Paperback Books
Paperboard

 

Cans, glass and plastic should be rinsed thoroughly.  The newspapers are used for animal bedding.
If you need something for a special project, we will set aside or try to find it for you.  Just let us know. 
Remember the three R’s - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Starting December 26th, 2019 through January 31st, 2020 you can drop off your fresh cut Christmas trees at the Greenford Christian Cemetery to be recycled (intersection of 165 and Beaver Creek rd.) during daylight hours.  

We cannot take cooking glass, water glasses, Plastic Pool Covers, window glass or styrofoam. ** Please note this site does NOT accept vehicle oil**


The Recycling Center is open 7 days a week during daylight hours.
